Bradly Nadeau is heading to Ottawa to wear the red and white maple leaf.
A year and a half after leading the Penticton Vees to their second straight Fred Page Cup title, the 18-year-old forward has been named to Team Canada for the 2025 World Junior Hockey Championships.
The New Brunswick-born forward spent two seasons with Penticton from 2021 to 2023, winning two BCHL championships and capturing the league's MVP award in his final campaign.
Nadeau was then selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the first round of the 2023 NHL draft, before leaving the South Okanagan and suiting up for the University of Maine Black Bears.
The 591ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™11, 172-pound winger is currently in his first year of professional hockey. Nadeau has nine points in 17 games with the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves, the Hurricanes91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™ AHL affiliate.
