The Rink Academy Hockey Kelowna Female U18 Prep Team will be at three McDonald91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s locations on Dec. 10 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. to raise funds for the food bank.
Four members will play for Team Canada and compete in the 2025 IIHF U18 Women91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s World Championship in Vantaa, Finland, from Jan. 4 to 12. The Rink Academ Team is ranked first in the their league and second in the country. Team Canada91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s first game is against Team Slovakia on Jan. 4.
The McDonald91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s restaurant operators have agreed to partner with the team. The locations are 2120 Harvey Avenue, Hollywood Road and Highway 33 in Rutland, and Reid91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Corner (Highway 97 and Old Vernon Road).
