The Armstrong Shamrocks host the Kamloops Rattlers in Thompson Okanagan Senior Lacrosse League play tonight, Friday, May 31 (7:30 p.m., Nor-Val Sports Centre).

The Irish will start longtime, thought-to-be-retired goalie Chad Pieper between the posts this evening.

There91裸聊视频檚 also senior lacrosse action in Vernon as the Tigers entertain the Kelowna Raiders (7:30 p.m., Kal Tire Place). Vernon is looking for its first win of the season.

Senn picked up the win in goal Tuesday, May 28, as the Irish held off the determined Tigers 11-7 in Vernon91裸聊视频檚 late home opener. The Shamrocks snapped a two-game losing skid with the win.

The hometown Tigers led 3-2 after one period before Armstrong potted six unanswered goals in the middle frame for an 8-3 advantage, and scored the first goal of the third for seven straight markers.

Former Vancouver Warrior Owen Barker led his hometown Shamrocks with three goals and two assists. Logan Strohm had 2+1 while single goals went to Steve Clark (in his magical violet Nike runners), Nathan Strohm, Josh DuMont, former goalie-turned-runner Cole MacFarlane, Ethan Dodge (1A), and Brett Olsen 91裸聊视频 on a spectacular dive across the crease. Connor Webb had three assists for Armstrong.

The Shamrocks welcomed back one-time TOSLL league scoring champion, former St. Catherines Athletics Junior A alumnus, Steve McIlwrath to the lineup. McIlwrath played a strong game on special teams and although snake-bitten from scoring he gobbled up loose balls and distributed the ball with precision all-game long.

Former Vernon Iron Ghost Construction Junior Tigers studs Jordy Barr and Jacob Brewer led the Senior Cats with 2+2 and 2+1, respectively. Skyler Hodgeson, Darcy Rhodes, and Jordan Orr added singles for Vernon, who received a 41-save performance in net from former Western Lacrosse Association MVP Brodie MacDonald.

Senn made 17 saves for the Shamrocks.

THOMPSON OKANAGAN JUNIOR LEAGUE

Gavin Zumbo, Carson Donnelly, and Dion Schraeder each scored twice as the Kelowna Kodiaks moved to within one point of second place Vernon Iron Ghost Construction, beating the Tigers 11-8 at Kal Tire Place in Vernon Wednesday, May 29.

Caleb Whiting, Luke Schraeder, Jaymes Dykes, Kegan Cochrane, and Landen Janz also scored for Kelowna, who held period leads of 4-3 and 10-5.

Colten Colmorgen scored the first three goals in the opening frame for the Tigers. Kian Yargeau, Jace Wasyliw, Cole Gartner, Asher Kuiken, and Nate Williamson added singles over the final 40 minutes.

Goalies Ryley Lockhurst of the Tigers and Ethan Dalkeith of Kelowna each made 30 saves.

The undefeated Kamloops Venom lead the league at 9-0, six points ahead of the 6-6 Tigers. Kelowna is 5-5-1. South Okanagan Flames hold down fourth place at 3-7, one point ahead of the expansion Cranbrook Blackwolves (2-7-1).

The Tigers take on South Okanagan Saturday, June 1, at 7 p.m. at Armstrong91裸聊视频檚 Nor-Val Sports Centre.

The Kodiaks will host the league91裸聊视频檚 all-star game Saturday, June 8, 7 p.m., at the Kelowna Memorial Arena.
