The West Kelowna Warriors couldn't have picked a much better time to be playing their best hockey of the season.
With eight games remaining and the BCHL playoffs just around the corner, Rylan Ferster's club is riding a six game (5-0-1) unbeaten streak.
The Warriors, whose last four wins have come on the road, edged the host Coquitlam Express 2-1 in overtime on Wednesday night. Liam Blackburn notched the game winner at 3:05 of the second extra sessions.
The Warriors (31-16-2-1) continue their road trip this weekend with two games in Trail, Friday and Saturday against the Smoke Eaters.
West Kelowna's next home action is Saturday, Feb. 13 against Langley.
