Mountain bikers will soon be descending on Big White for a breathtaking weekend.
From Aug. 8-10 is the annual Freeride Days Mountain Bike festival, featuring the FMB gold international slopestyle hosted by Vernon-based rider and recent X-games gold medalist Tom van Steenbergen.
Some of the best riders in the world will be competing in the slopestyle course in one of five marquee events happening throughout the weekend.
For fans and spectators, the event is free and there's also many activities, live music, food, and beverages. There is also a mountain soiree on Friday night.
