The Kelowna United/Junior Heat U15 boys have had Vernon91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s number thus far in the Thompson Okanagan Youth Soccer League season.
On Sunday, KU/Jr. Heat made it three straight convincing wins over their foes from the North Okanagan with a 7-0 win. Keepers Jordan Thorsen and Brennan Martin shared the clean sheet, with Patrick Donovan and Chris West scoring two goals each, and singles coming from Ethan Cowan, Dheven Singh and Justin Matte.

Kelowna United prevailed over Kamloops 3-1. Nathan Gilbert tallied twice in Sunday91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s win, with Lee Arnasen scoring the other goal.

In the final regular season meeting between the clubs, Kelowna United (Greenhough) fell short, 2-1 to the Kamloops Blaze.
Ashlyn Eisenkrein gave Kelowna the lead with a goal 25 minutes into the first half. United keeper Tayshja Clark made a miraculous save on a Kamloops breakaway a few minutes later, only to see Kamloops tied the game at 33 minutes. When the teams came out for the second half, the Kelowna players were noticeably tired. Kamloops took the lead for good after they loaded up the KU defensive zone and a Blaze player was able to roll the ball into the net.

The United Warriors (Yann) played to a 1-1 draw with hometown Revelstoke. After Revelstoke took the lead late in the opening half, Kelowna responded in the second half when Mikey Krause snagged the ball on a miscommunication between the defender and the keeper and slotted the tying goal.
United (Arruda) played to a 1-1 stalemate with Kamloops. Down 1-0 in the second half, Kelowna went on the attack and Ethan Warnes scored the goal to tie the game. Kelowna91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s defense stayed strong while they continued to attack Kamloops with more shots on net but were denied any further goals.

The KU/Junior Heat got the better of Kamloops L on Saturday with a 3-1 win.
Sydney Sowerby scored first goal off a well-planned pass by Olivia Lawrie. The second goal was a powerful penalty kick by Shae Taylor. In the second half, Olivia scored late in the game off a corner kick by Shae.
On Sunday, KU/Junior Heat followed up with a 1-0 win over Vernon. In 30 degree weather, Tatum Grundy saw an opportunity to pass back to Piper Guidi in the crease and Piper scored the game91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s only goal.
