There was no wheeling and dealing for the West Kelowna Warriors ahead of the BCHL's Feb. 10 trade deadline, but they did get pen to paper with two new players.
Quinlan Parry is a returning face to the Warriors lineup, after starting the season as an affiliate player. The defenceman left for a few months after signing with the QMJHL's Chicoutimi Sagueneens. After being with the organization for a few months, Parry returned to West Kelowna as an affiliate player but with Monday's move, and is now on the team's main roster.
He has played in one game for the Warriors so far this season.
Tyler Pretty is also making a return to the BCHL with the Warriors. He has signed for the rest of the season after playing the majority of the 2024-25 season with the Alberta Junior Hockey League's Devon Xtreme where he scored 13 goals and added 14 assists in 43 games.
The Abbotsford native played for the Chilliwack Chiefs in the 2023-24 season.
Both Parry and Pretty are set to be in the Warriors lineup on Saturday, Feb. 15 when West Kelowna welcomes the Blackfalds Bulldogs to Royal LePage Place. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
