Bass guitarist Herbie Flowers, who played with David Bowie, Elton John, Lou Reed and other music legends in a decades-long career, has died at 86.

The musician91裸聊视频檚 family confirmed his death on Facebook Saturday.

Flowers was a founding member of the pop group Blue Mink, who later joined the rock band T Rex. He won acclaim for his work with many of the biggest names in U.K. music in the 1970s, giving Reed91裸聊视频檚 91裸聊视频淲alk On The Wild Side,91裸聊视频� from the 1972 91裸聊视频淭ransformer91裸聊视频� album, its recognizable twinned bassline.

He also played bass for Bowie91裸聊视频檚 91裸聊视频淪pace Oddity,91裸聊视频� Bryan Ferry91裸聊视频檚 91裸聊视频淭he Bride Stripped Bare,91裸聊视频� and Paul McCartney91裸聊视频檚 91裸聊视频淕ive My Regards To Broad Street,91裸聊视频� and featured in two of John91裸聊视频檚 early 91裸聊视频�70s albums, among many others.

In a tribute, Bowie91裸聊视频檚 estate said 91裸聊视频渉is work with Bowie and associates over the years is too long to list here.91裸聊视频�

Flowers also founded the instrumental rock band Sky in the late 1970s, releasing seven albums.
