Rutland has come a long way in the past seven years.

And, a majority of that community improvement comes from the hard work of the Uptown Rutland Business Association (URBA), specifically, it91裸聊视频檚 executive director Laurel D91裸聊视频橝ndrea.

D91裸聊视频橝ndrea, for the better part of eight years, has looked to improve Rutland for both the business and residential communities.

Despite her success, at the end of February, she will be leaving her position for a new challenge and adventure.

91裸聊视频淚t91裸聊视频檚 time for a change for the organization and it91裸聊视频檚 time for a change for me,91裸聊视频� she said. 91裸聊视频淚t91裸聊视频檚 the most stressful job I91裸聊视频檝e ever loved. It91裸聊视频檚 got so many different facets to it.91裸聊视频�

In her time with URBA, D91裸聊视频橝ndrea said the progress that has been made is incredible.

91裸聊视频淚 look at Rutland with a positive spin,91裸聊视频� she said.

91裸聊视频淚 think Rutland is very loyal, a very passionate community.91裸聊视频�

Among several of the projects she91裸聊视频檚 proud of, are URBA91裸聊视频檚 participation in resurfacing and adding bus bump-outs to Highway 33, helping with the development of Rutland Centennial Park and the Uptown Mural Project.

91裸聊视频淭he relationship that URBA has with so many of our stakeholders and with public officials has grown exponentially in the past seven years because of our board and our staff,91裸聊视频� she said.

While looking forward to her new career as the executive director for the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce, D91裸聊视频橝ndrea said she can91裸聊视频檛 wait to keep up with how Rutland will continue to progress in her absence.

91裸聊视频淚 can91裸聊视频檛 wait to go online and see where Rutland is headed next,91裸聊视频� she said.

91裸聊视频淚 think it91裸聊视频檚 headed for bigger and better things because there are lots of really strong business people in this community and they91裸聊视频檙e just going to keep moving Rutland forward.91裸聊视频�

Kelowna Mayor Colin Basran described D91裸聊视频橝ndrea as a huge part of Rutland91裸聊视频檚 revitalization.

91裸聊视频淭here is a lot of events and planning and policy underway that have been implemented as a result of her hard work,91裸聊视频� said Basran.

91裸聊视频淚 want to thank her for her commitment to the area and that organization, as well as many other charitable causes in our community.91裸聊视频�
