The South Okanagan Big Band is preparing for a festive season concert.
A Jazzy Christmas Show, on Friday, Dec. 6, will include cherished Christmas tunes, some serious, some fun and some funny.
For this season, the band has promised all new arrangements of the tunes.
Debi Johnson will lead the vocal component, with plans to bring in guest vocalists to provide vocal styles similar to the Andrews Sisters.
The show will be hosted in festive surroundings with cafe-style tables and a cash bar for wine and beer. There will also be a 50/50 draw.
Tickets are $10, or $15 for members of the Summerland Community Centre. Tickets are available at Artisans of the Okanagan, or can be reserved by e-transfer to summerlandcommunitycentre@gmail.com.
The concert on Friday, Dec. 6 begins at 7 p.m.
