Communities across British Columbia looking to boost their outdoor recreational activities can now apply to the Outdoor Recreation Fund of BC.
The application period opened on March 28 and will remain open until April 30. According to a press release from the fund, the grants support 91裸聊视频渃ommunity-based initiatives that create and shape meaningful outdoor recreational and nature-based experiences for British Columbians.91裸聊视频�
The press release further explained that in 2023, the province contributed a one-time grant of $10 million to the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC which led to the establishment of the endowment fund, The Outdoor Recreation Fund of BC. This endowment fund will be a 91裸聊视频減erpetual funding source for the grant program.91裸聊视频�

The fund91裸聊视频檚 website details that the following organizations should consider applying:
91裸聊视频egistered charities and incorporated non-profit organizations
91裸聊视频ocal governments in BC
91裸聊视频ndigenous governments in BC
The media release explained the following applicants should consider applying:
91裸聊视频lign with the purpose of the fund
91裸聊视频lign with one (or more) of the three priorities
91裸聊视频re ready-to-go which means that any required authorizations are in place before applying
91裸聊视频ake place in British Columbia
91裸聊视频he project takes place in natural settings91裸聊视频攕uch as parks, trails, and natural aquatic areas91裸聊视频攁nd does not include activities that take place in highly cultivated recreation areas (such as playgrounds, skate parks or sports fields)
91裸聊视频rojects that can be completed before March 2025 will be preferred
The media release also noted that a 50 per cent matching contribution is necessary and that it can be fulfilled with the following:

91裸聊视频onated materials at verified fair market value
91裸聊视频onated accredited professional services at verified fair market value
91裸聊视频olunteer labour at $20/hour
