There will be no item costing more than $2. The sale tables will be loaded with books from over 200 boxes, comprising ORL library withdrawals and public donations.
Funds support the year-round baby, children and teen programming, the Summer Reading Club, guest speakers and author events, special new facilities and more.
In 2016, Friends funded almost $7,000 towards the three branches wishlists. This May FOL will contribute about $11,000 to wishlists; of this, $6000 will go towards performers, prizes, and crafts for the upcoming Summer Reading Club, Walk on the Wild side!.
From all 2016 book sales, Friends contributed another $11,000 towards special projects and programming across the ORL system.
Every book purchased and every sale success means the better Friends can meet those library needs.
