Kelowna residents wanting to get their minds off winter can start planning a neighbourhood project or event for the spring. 

The Neighbourhood Grant and the Youth Development and Engagement Grant are now accepting applications for spring projects. Both grants support resident-led initiatives fostering community connection and improving neighbourhood quality of life.

The Neighbourhood Grant, supported by the Central Okanagan Foundation, offers up to $1,500 in matching funds for projects. Applications are open until Jan. 27, and grants will support projects to be completed by the end of June.

The Youth Development and Engagement Grant provides up to $1,000 in matching funds. Youth 13-24 are encouraged to develop projects and events for leadership experience, and volunteer hours91裸聊视频攁ll while improving their neighbourhoods.
