Young professionals are getting into lawn bowling and fundraising this summer.

BDO, an international accountancy network, has extended its presenting sponsorship agreement for another two years with Kelowna-based On The Lawn powered by BDO.

With the unique step-back-in-time lawn bowling tournament, the firm has helped raise more than $29,000 over the past two years for local charity, Elevation Outdoors.

The event began in 2015 and was a first for the Okanagan. Now, 26 teams are registered to play. The fundraiser is open to the public, though registration is full.

For three weeks starting July 27 at the Kelowna Lawn Bowling Club in City Park, young professionals in Kelowna will gather to bowl, network, and support Elevation Outdoors.
