Over $6K raised in Naramata Polar Bear Fire Plunge

More than 140 brave people dove into 2024 at Centre Beach in Naramata on New Year91裸聊视频檚 Day. (Barbara Smallwood photo)

The second annual Naramata Polar Bear Fire Plunge at Centre Beach saw more than 140 brave people dive into Okanagan Lake on Jan. 1.

Although it was a bit cooler than last year, the dip had double the plunge registrations and they quadrupled the fundraising to a whopping $6,681.35 in support of the Naramata Volunteer Fire Department.

91裸聊视频淚 am so proud and thankful for all the businesses who supported this event, the daredevils to jump in the lake and those who cheered us on,91裸聊视频 said main organizer Will van Middendorp.

There was live entertainment, search and rescue volunteers making everyone safe and of course the Naramata firefighters.
