PHOTOS: Christmas colours shine at Lake Country light-up

The light-up was from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Residents had smiling faces and hands warmed by hot chocolate at the annual Lake Country Light-Up on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Many people attended the event at Memorial Park, where the Lake Country Lions Club hosted a bonfire and served hot dogs, coffee, and more.

On top of the trees and tractor being lit up by Christmas lights, there was also live music and people could get their photos with Santa.

Earlier in the day, residents also stopped by Santa's Workshop, which took place at George Elliot Secondary School from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. where there were crafts, a toy drop-off, road hockey, cookie decorating and story-time, among other activities.
