PHOTOS: Classic cars, speed racers and more shine on Kelowna's Bernard Avenue

Hundreds of people attending the event

A little bit of everything in the car industry was on display on Kelowna's Bernard Avenue on Saturday, Aug. 17 as the annual Show N Shine took place.

Classic cars, hot rods, cruisers, motorcycles, and even a boat lined downtown's main street from Bernard Avenue down to St. Paul Street. This year, the event also extended onto Pandosy Street.

Hundreds of people were checking out the vehicles, asking questions to the owners, and taking photos with the cars. Those interested had the chance to vote on their favourite cars as well as someone and their vehicle would win the People's Choice award. A panel of judges at the event also gave out prizes to the Best Domestic vehicle, Best Import vehicle, and Best Overall vehicle.

The annual event is part of the Downtown Kelowna Association's Meet Me on Bernard program.
