An enthusiastic crowd welcomed the holiday season at the annual Christmas Light Up Parade in downtown Sicamous as diverse floats hit Main Street on Saturday, Dec. 7.
The festive floats included a good representation of the four-season destination from boats to sleds, and also highlighted the unique features of the community, including a giant six-string from Riversong Guitars, a milk wagon from D Dutchmen Dairy, the Sicamous Eagles hockey team and the decorated dinosaurs from Mark4Gems.
The celebration ended with Christmas carols, fireworks and the official tree lighting from Mayor Colleen Anderson.
