Firefighters who lost their homes in the McDougall Creek Wildfire were given quilts in a special ceremony this past weekend.
The Orchard Valley Quilters Guild gathered their quilts that were on display at the Rotary Centre for the Arts and donated them to firefighters from Wilson91裸聊视频檚 Landing Fire Department.

More than 30 quilts were donated at Station 42 Fire Hall, with the firefighters getting to examine each one, talk to the quilters, and pick their favourite.

The ceremony followed the Wilson91裸聊视频檚 Landing Firefighters Association first Annual General Meeting. The association was formed shortly after the 2023 Grouse Complex.
Additionally, the Orchard Valley Quilters Guild plans to also donate to other community members who experienced loss in West Kelowna and other communities.
