The Okanagan Humane Society kicked off National Adoption Week at Kelowna91裸聊视频檚 Pet Smart.

Vice-President of Operations Charity Dickinson said the two-hour adoption event was highly successful.

91裸聊视频淲e had eight cats here today and we had six of them gone in 16 minutes.91裸聊视频�

Dickinson said the last event at Bosley91裸聊视频檚 in Kelowna found similar success.

91裸聊视频淭hese cats were strays. They usually come in as strays and they need help,91裸聊视频� Dickinson said. She stressed the importance of adopting to get feral cats off the streets.

All of the cats are vaccinated and spayed or neutered before being adopted out. The humane society asks adoptees to keep their new cat indoors and slowly introduce them to other animals living in the home.
