Salmon Arm Guinness World Record holder Auldin Maxwell is headed to the big screen.
The Murray family and partners will be hosting a viewing of A World Record Christmas at the Salmar Classic on Wednesday, Dec. 13.
The film was inspired by Maxwell and his record-breaking Jenga towers, stacked on single bricks, that earned him five Guinness World Records.
Not only is the film based on one of those achievements, but Auldin also makes a guest appearance.
Auldin, mother Kelly Murray and stepfather David Murray have been busy as of late, speaking with numerous media outlets about the film.
Auldin and Kelly91裸聊视频檚 first stop was the Salmon Arm Observer.
The movie focuses on Charlie (based on Auldin), an autistic boy determined to set a Guinness World Record by stacking 1,400 Jenga blocks, and is encouraged by his mother and stepfather to reach his dream.
Auldin said he was given the opportunity to try out for 91裸聊视频淐harlie,91裸聊视频� but was cool with the cameo.
While on set, Auldin said he repeatedly received encouragement from people involved with the movie. 91裸聊视频淭hey said if there91裸聊视频檚 another movie and they need a background character, a scene where a character talks for a little while, they said they would contact me,91裸聊视频� said Auldin.
On Auldin91裸聊视频檚 day of filming, the cast and crew gathered and one of the producers told the crowd (with Auldin and David present), that they were all there because of Auldin and his record.
91裸聊视频淓verybody clap-ped for them and Auldin was so shocked and speechless that David had to speak on his behalf because it was a total surprise and overwhelming in such a good way,91裸聊视频� said Murray.
The film debuted on the W Network on Nov. 16.
For the Salmar Classic showing, doors open at 5 p.m. with the movie beginning at 6:15 p.m.
There will be a special question-and-answer period, a photo op and prizes to be won. Donations will be accepted for the Shuswap Children91裸聊视频檚 Association.
