The Rotary Centre for the Arts (RCA) and Creative Okanagan are celebrating Kelowna talent.
Graham Ord Blues Revue will perform at the Mary Irwin Theatre on Friday, Feb. 7. Ord is a British-Canadian award-winning singer songwriter, guitarist, and producer. The band draws from diverse influences within blues, soul, and gospel. The James Hay Blues Band, based out of Kelowna, will open the show. The trio performs a mix of swampy delta slide, jump blues, jive, swing, and boogie.
Down The Lees, which has roots in Vancouver, Belgium and the Okanagan, is a post-noise-rock trio. Their performance, on Saturday, Feb. 8 at Mary Irwin Theatre, will be filmed and recorded for a live album, funded by Creative BC.
They share the stage with indie rock band Nightshades. The foursome is described as 91裸聊视频渁 Beatles-esque timeshare of vibrant music with a psychedelic flourish.
