Aeromodelers will be flying into the Vernon mall this week to show off their latest airborne creations. 

The Vernon Radio Controlled Aeromodelers Society will set up a display at the Village Green Shopping Centre Feb. 21-23 with its annual model airplane show. 

The society now has 105 members including many from Kelowna, said event organizer Frank Musil.

Gliders, helicopters and planes of all sizes will be on display, and members will be available to chat about their model aircraft.
