Advanced voting now open in Central Okanagan, Vernon

Nine days ahead of the British Columbia91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s 43rd provincial general election, advanced voting has opened in Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country, and Vernon.

Advanced voting is taking place over six days, from Friday, Oct. 10 to Sunday, Oct. 13 and from Tuesday, Oct. 15 to Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Here is where residents can vote in the Central Okanagan and Vernon ahead of the election:

Advanced voting takes place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on each available day.

All eligible voters must prove their identity and residential address by showing . Additionally, voters should've all received where to vote cards in the mail and are encouraged to bring those with them as well. 

"Where to Vote cards list the voting places that are usually most-convenient for voters. Voters can, however, vote at any other voting place in the province," stated Elections BC.

The provincial general election ends on Saturday, Oct. 19.
