CMHA Kelowna to hand out winter clothing as temperatures drop

Overnight temperatures are expected to reach as low as -10C

Temperatures are dropping in Kelowna and the local branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association is stepping up to help those living on the streets. 

Environment Canada shows snow in the forecast this week for Kelowna with daily highs zero or colder. 

91裸聊视频淲e know how dangerous these cold snaps can be for people experiencing homelessness,91裸聊视频 said CMHA Kelowna CEO, Mike Gawliuk. 91裸聊视频淥ur Community Roots team is committed to being out on the streets ensuring that folks who are unhoused are provided with warm clothing and have access to the supports they need to stay safe during these cold days and months.91裸聊视频

The team will distribute winter jackets, toques, gloves, socks, insulated blankets and sleeping bags.

 CMHA Kelowna is collecting financial and physical donations to assist more people. Donations can be made online at or by visiting their office at 504 Sutherland Ave.
