J91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Café on Ellis Street in downtown Kelowna is closed for further notice after an oven fire on Wednesday evening.
The blaze caused smoke damage and the cafe has shut down for the time being to repair a core piece of equipment.
J91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Café issued the closure notice on Thursday, stating they were sorry for the inconvenience.

An oven range fire caused a lot of smoke and commotion in downtown Kelowna on the evening of Jan. 17.
At approximately 5 p.m. the Kelowna Fire Department responded to a call for a structure fire at a café in the 1200 block of Ellis Street.
Firefighters report that an oven range had caused the blaze in a café, said Scott Clarke, Platoon Captain, Kelowna Fire Department in a media release.
The fire was extinguished by café staff but had created a lot of smoke which had seeped into neighbouring businesses.
The fire crews ensured the fire was completely extinguished and then checked for extension and ventilated all affected properties.
There were no injuries to the public or Firefighters.
The fire is deemed accidental.
The Kelowna Fire Department responded with three engines, a ladder truck, a rescue unit and a command unit including 15 fire personnel.
