Major apartment complex for Clement Avenue going before Kelowna council

Kelowna council will get a look at a six-storey apartment building planned for Clement Avenue at its Mar. 4 meeting.

The long-term rental housing project is proposed for 10 lots from 815 to 865 Clement Ave. between Richter and Ellis streets.

Original plans show 182 apartments and 15 townhomes, and rooftop amenities including include bocce ball courts, a putting green, ping pong tables, BBQ, and seating.

Council will also consider rezoning three properties on Homer Road in Rutland to allow a townhouse development at Monday91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s meeting.

A six unit development is proposed for 250, 270, and 280 Homer Rd.

Staff is recommending support for both projects.
