Remember your mittens: Chilly weather, flurries in Okanagan forecast

With sub-zero temperatures forecast for the Okanagan, residents will need to remember their hats and mittens when venturing outdoors over the week of Jan. 20-26. 

The forecast for Monday Jan. 20, includes daytime highs between -3C and -5C and a mix of sun and cloud across the Okanagan Valley. Light wind is expected and flurries are forecast throughout the Okanagan Valley on Tuesday Jan. 21. 

Temperatures are expected to remain steady throughout the week, dipping to -10 overnight. 

There are no weather alerts in effect. 

, Canada's hot-spot is Argentia in Newfoundland and Labrador, with temperatures of 11C and Taloyoak, Nunavut is the coldest region in the country at -41C. 

Cities in Saskatchewan will see temperatures of -35C and below throughout the week.
