A couple of local personal trainers have made a big donation to a West Kelowna high school.

Brian Mark and Cole DaSilva from Iron Energy Gym donated $10,000 to the Mount Boucherie Secondary School football team on Thursday, Nov. 30.

91ƵOur goal with this donation is to remind these men to stay focused on their goals, because they are the future and decisions they make today will be the ones that shape the next generation,91Ƶ Mark and De Silva said in a joint Instagram post.

They got inspired to make the donation after one of the players on the team reached out and spoke to Mark.

91ƵAs football players, you guys are leaders in the community,91Ƶ Mark told players at the cheque presentation. 91ƵPeople follow you around, they91Ƶll watch what you do, and they91Ƶre going to act like you.91Ƶ
