NHL Central Scouting has released its preliminary players to watch list for the 2024-25 seasons and it features one West Kelowna Warrior and one Kelowna Rocket.

The list ranks the best North American and International hockey players who are draft-eligible for the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.

On the primary list are West Kelowna Warriors forward Callum Hughes and Kelowna Rockets goaltender Jake Pilon. They are both categorized with a W, indicating they're both projections to be selected in the 6th or 7th round of this year's draft.

Hughes currently leads with Warriors with nine points (five goals, four assists) in 11 games so far this BCHL season.

In three games this season, Pilon has been outstanding for the Rockets. He's 3-0 with a 3.33 goals against average and a .906 save percentage, allowing 10 goals on 106 shots.

The full list from Central Scouting can be found on the NHL's .

The Rockets are back in action on Wednesday night (Oct. 23) as they welcome the Victoria Royals to Prospera Place for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop. The Warriors are in Alberta on Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26 to take on the Sherwood Park Crusaders and the Spruce Grove Saints.
