Five West Kelowna Warriors are ready to take part in the BCHL91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s All-Star Weekend.
Penticton is hosting the event for the second consecutive year and the weekend is kicking off with the 2024 Top Prospects game on Friday night at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC).
Warriors forward Jack Pridham and Callum Hughes, as well as defenceman Landen Hilditch are all in the line-up for the Interior Conference as they take on the Coastal Conference. Pridham and Hughes both received automatic entries into the game as they are both on the NHL Central Scouting91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Players to Watch list.
On Saturday, Jan. 20, the day91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s events are taking place at the Penticton Outdoor Rink.
At 12 p.m., the skills competition takes place with Warriors forward Felix Caron, who91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s tied for second in the league in goals with 21, is taking part in the fastest skater event.
From 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the main event takes place - a 3-on-3 tournament between the Interior and Coastal Conferences. The Warriors have two representatives in the game, Caron and defenceman Isaiah Norlin.
Between the skills competition and 3-on-3 tournament is the BCHL alumni and friends game, which features many retired NHL players including Scott Gomez, Tyler Turris, Vancouver Canucks analyst Dave Tomlinson, and more.
