The Kelowna Ringette Association Open A (Team BC) won its third consecutive gold medal at the Western Canadian Ringette Championship in Calgary on the Easter weekend.
Team BC went undefeated in the tournament and beat Team Saskatchewan 5-2 for the gold medal.
Stephanie Russo of Team BC was named All-Star for her outstanding performance on defence.
The winners of the Provincial Championships in each division represent British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and a fifth team in each division represents the hosting Association.
