Okanagan Sun playoff bound, host semi-final on Saturday

The Okanagan Sun are playoff bound.

On Saturday, Oct. 14 in Chilliwack, the Sun closed out the British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC) regular season with a 46-7 win against the Valley Huskers. With the victory, they finished second in the conference with an 8-1 record.

After finishing the season against the Huskers, the Sun are preparing for them again as they face off in one of the BCFC semi-finals on Saturday, Oct. 21. Valley finished third in the conference with a 7-3 record.

Ahead of the semi-final, five members of the Okanagan Sun were named BCFC all-stars for their outstanding effort this season:

  • Cam Michaud - defensive line;
  • Jeff Vander Werff - offensive line;
  • Caleb Cunningham - offensive line;
  • Jacob Bond - linebacker;
  • Michael Jourdan - defensive back.

Kick off for Saturday91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s semi-final is 2 p.m. at the Apple Bowl in Kelowna.
