The Rutland Voodoos are semi-final bound.
On Saturday, Nov. 25, the high school football program is taking on Vancouver College in the AAA varsity semi-finals at BC Place in Vancouver.
Rutland made it to the semi-final after beating Kelowna Secondary School 41-7 last weekend.
The team also recently had six players selected to play in the BC High School Football All-Star Game on Dec. 2, also happening at BC Place. The six players are:
- Quarterback Ty Walker (grade 12) - Committed to the University of Calgary Dinos for next year;
- Running back Parket Scott (grade 12);
- Halfback Liam O91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™Flynn (grade 12);
- Offensive/defensive line Jeff Hawkes (grade 11);
- Offensive/defensive line Eliott Vander Horst (grade 11);
- Halfback Reid Thompson (grade 11).
The Voodoos finished the regular season 4-2 with a +65 point differential. They91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™ll be in tough against Vancouver College, who went 6-0 this season with a +209 point differential.
Saturday91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s semi-final kicks off at 4 p.m. and will be available to watch on .
