West Kelowna Warriors forward Johannes Løkkeberg played in his second consecutive World Junior Hockey Championships.
Because of his experience of playing in the tournament in the past, the 19-year-old captained Team Norway at this year91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s event, collecting an assist in his team91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s four games.
His team, however, struggled in the tournament, not getting out of round-robin play as they went 0-4, beating outscored 26-8.
Løkkeberg was one of four current BCHL players to play at this year91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s World Junior Hockey Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden.
With being eliminated from the tournament, Løkkeberg is expected to the Warriors lineup on Friday, Jan. 5 as they host the Merritt Centennials at Royal LePage Place. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
