Friends and family are rallying around a young Kelowna woman who died last week, shortly after giving birth to her second child.
Patricia Selzer gave birth Jan. 22 to her second child, a healthy baby boy named Jack. She then died unexpectedly just five days later on Jan. 27 at Kelowna General Hospital.
Patricia Selzer is described as a wonderful, patient, selfless mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend on a page that was set up by her best friend. The campaign has raised almost $50,000 in just two days.
Selzer was 27 and was born and raised in Kelowna and worked as a nurse at Vernon General Hospital.
The money raised will go to Selzer91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s husband Paul and their two children, two-year old Olivia, and newborn Jack.
