RCMP are continuing their investigation into a two vehicle crash involving a pedestrian early yesterday evening.
On May 16 at 6:50 p.m., the West Kelowna RCMP and Kelowna Municipal Traffic Services responded to a report of a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Dobbin Road (Highway 97) and Old Okanagan Highway.
"Police have learned from witnesses on scene that two vehicles, a black Mercedes GLK35 and a blue Ford F-150, collided in the intersection causing one of the vehicles to spin out of control and strike a pedestrian rendering him unconscious," said Const. Jesse O'Donaghey, in a press release.
"The pedestrian, a 29-year-old West Kelowna man, was rushed by Emergency Health Services to hospital with serious injuries."
The drivers of both vehicles involved in the collision remained at the scene and are co-operating with the investigation.
A Collision Re-Constructionist was called to the scene and the investigation is ongoing which will include a full mechanical inspection of the Ford F-150.
