Salmon Arm are trying to reunite some recently recovered stolen goods in a larger stash with their rightful owner.
On Jan. 4 police were notified of a cube van that possibly contained stolen goods. Officers searched the vehicle and found numerous items from a previously reported break and enter, which were returned to their lawful owner. Other items, however, are still pending.
"Police also located 16 other construction related tools and items that are suspected to be stolen," Const. Andrew Hodges said in a Jan. 17 media release. "All the tools were seized and police thus far have been unable to locate the rightful owner."
If any individual or business is missing several tools, they are asked to call the Salmon Arm detachment at 250-832-6044 to see if they have the items. Reference file number 2025-72, and be prepared to provide detailed descriptions of the missing items, including any distinctive markings if any, brand name and tool type.
