The Summerland Health-Care Auxiliary has achieved more than two-thirds of its $1 million pledge to support the South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation91裸聊视频檚 oncology campaign.
In December 2022, the auxiliary pledged the $1 million in funding to support the $10 million oncology project.
Two years later, in December 2024, the auxiliary had reached more than two-thirds of this amount.
The oncology centre at the Penticton Regional Hospital will enhance health care in the South Okanagan Similkameen region.
It will expand nursing staff and treatment bays, and will also include amenities to enhance patient comfort and mental well-being.
The Summerland Health-Care Auxiliary91裸聊视频檚 Thrift Store, at 13216 Victoria Rd. N., carries an assortment of used items and is managed by a team of volunteers.

The auxiliary was founded in 1909 to support health care in Summerland and the South Okanagan Similkameen. The thrift store was opened in 1958.
At present, there are around 120 volunteers with the thrift store. The store is open Tuesday to Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m.
