A stalwart on the ice for over 100 games in the KIJHL, Armstrong native Devin Jameson is heading to the U.S to continue his playing career. 

Jameson, who played 110 regular season games for the KIJHL's North Okanagan Knights (now Quesnel River Rush), is off to play for the Drury University Panthers in Springfield, Missouri.

The 20-year-old had 112 points in parts of five seasons for the Knights, including 16 in their playoff run in 2023-24. He will be reunited with former Knights Matthew Johnston, KT Walters and Ethan O91裸聊视频橰ourke at Drury.

Jameson is forgoing his final year of junior hockey to make the leap to the college hockey level, and having former teammates around will make that jump easier. 

"The KIJHL is a great development league, especially for younger players to gain confidence," he said. "Now in college, I hope to play a part in helping the Panthers win a championship."

Along with hockey, Jameson is hoping to earn a business degree from the small liberal-arts school of 1,369 students.
