The 1996-born goaltender just completed his third and final season with the Rockets.
After originally being drafted in the ninth round of the WHL Bantam draft by the Victoria Royals and playing only two games, Herringer was acquired via trade and played in 113 games with Kelowna. He finished his WHL career with a record of 71-29-5-0.
He also played in 39 playoff games with the Rockets, posting a record of 21-17. He was part of the WHL championship-winning Rockets team in 2015.
