Coaching year round has become the norm for women91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s head basketball coach Claire Meadows.
For the second straight off-season Meadows has elected to spend the summer months of June and July with Canada Basketball.
This year, Meadows is an assistant with the U19 women91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s national Team that is competing at the in Udine and Cividale del Friuli, Italy.
Last summer Meadows was involved with basically the same group, being one of just two assistants to the 2016 U18 women91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s national team.
Both years the teams have been headed by Ryerson university91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Carly Clarke.
The Canadian women tipped off at the FIBA U19 Women91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Basketball World Cup with three consecutive wins over Korea, France and Latvia.
