Cédricson Okitundu played 16 games with the Penticton Vees in 2024-2025.

The Penticton Vees have sent veteran defenceman Cédricson Okitundu to the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in exchange for future considerations, the BCHL clubs announced Friday.

Okitundu, 20, played 16 games with the Vees this fall after spending parts of the last four seasons in the Canadian Hockey League (CHL).

Dating back to the 2021-2022 campaign, the Ottawa, Ont. product has suited up for the Owen Sound Attack, Guelph Storm, Brantford Bulldogs and Prince Albert Raiders.

Penticton's roster now sits at 24: three goaltenders, nine defenceman and 12 forwards.

The Vees are back in action this weekend as they host the Blackfalds Bulldogs and Okotoks Oilers on Dec. 28 and 29, respectively.
