It was a decisive victory for the Princeton Posse as the team earned a 4-1 win over the Williams Lake Mustangs on Jan. 17.
The game was held at the Princeton and District Arena, with 339 people in attendance.
Princeton took an early lead 11 seconds into the game when Matthew Langdon scored, assisted by Tyson Horiachka and Jonathan Ward.
At 2:29, Jace Shuttleworth reinforced the lead with an unassisted shorthanded goal.
Langdon added a goal for the Posse at 18:59, assisted by Kayne Van Metre and Horiachka.
In the second period, Jacob Shtaif of the Mustangs scored the only Williams Lake goal, assisted by Rory Mumford and Tate Rigel.
In the third period, Langdon scored an empty net goal, assisted by Tyson Horiachka.
The Posse have a record of 25 wins, five losses, three overtime losses and one shootout loss in Junior B hockey action this season, and are in first place in the Bill Ohlhausen Division of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League.
The next action for the team is on Tuesday, Jan. 21 when the Posse will host the Sicamous Eagles. Game time is 7 p.m.
