Raiders swept by 91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ˜Rocks in TOSLL final

In front of a large Armstrong crowd, the saw their senior lacrosse season come to an end on Wednesday night.

The hometown Shamrocks knocked off a game Raiders91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™ team 8-6 at the NorVal Centre to win the Rowcliffe Cup for the third straighy year.

The 91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ˜Rocks swept the best-of-five series three games to none.

Kelowna was in the game until the final buzzer, keeping Armstrong within reach for the entire game,

The Kelowna defence managed to keep Armstrong91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s big shooters mostly in check while controlling the ball in Armstrong91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s end.

Down by a goal in the third, the Raiders were unable to tie it up as the Shamrocks went on for the two-goal victory.

Vic Wiens and Ryan Lindstrom each scored a pair for the Raiders, with singles coming from Dwayne Briden and Joe Brown.

Kyle Versteeg and Milan Marcetta led the 91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ˜Rocks attack with two goals each.

The Raiders accepted a challenge from Armstrong to play in the Thompson Okanagan Senior Lacrosse League final after the Kamloops Rattlers forfeited their berth.
