For pretty much the entire B.C. 18U AAA baseball season, visiting Edith Gay Park has been an exercise in futility for opposing teams.

The Kelowna Sun Devils, who are 16-1 at Edith Gay in 2017, closed out their regular season home schedule Wednesday with a 14-0 drubbing of the Vernon Canadians.

Gavin Barrett was masterful on the mound for Kelowna, tossing a two-hitter and striking out six to push his record to 7-0.

Jackson Sowerby led the offense with three hits and three RBIs, while Noah Ringness-Law belted a three-run home run

Defensively, the Sun Devils were solid committing just one error.

The Sun Devils will host the B.C. midget AAA provincials beginning July 27.
