Warriors pushed to edge by Cents

The West Kelowna Warriors are down to their last strike.

The hometown Merritt Centennials downed the Warriors 6-2 on Monday night to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the best of seven first-round BCHL series.

Game 4 goes tonight in Merritt.

The Cents took the each of the first two games of the series at Royal LePage Place by a single goal.

Merritt won 6-5 on Friday, then went to triple overtime to down the Warriors 5-4 on Saturday.

A fifth game, if necessary, will be played Thursday in West Kelowna.
