Warriors to play two at BCHL Showcase

Historically, the West Kelowna Warriors have played well at the Bauer BCHL Showcase.

Rylan Ferster91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s club hopes the trend will continue in 2017 with two games this September at Prospera Centre in Chilliwack.

The Warriors will play the Mainland Division91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Coquitlam Express on Wednesday, Sept. 20, followed by the Island Division91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Cowichan Valley Capitals on Thursday, Sept. 21.

The Warriors went a combined 4-1-0 against the two teams during the 2016-17 regular season.

West Kelowna has won eight of 10 games at past BCHL Showcase events, including their last six in a row.

Warriors open vs Trail91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ¦

The Warriors will kick off the BCHL regular season with a home-and-home set against an Interior Division rival.

West Kelowna will visit the Trail Smoke Eaters on opening night, Friday, Sept. 8. The Warriors will then host their home opener against the Smokies the following night, Saturday, Sept. 9.
