The Fraternal Order of Eagles has once again stepped up to help improve health care across the South Okanagan and Similkameen.

Penticton91裸聊视频檚 chapter of the North America-wide, 126-year-old group recently donated $12,000 to the Penticton Regional Hospital.

Ian Lindsay, CEO of the South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation, was presented a cheque on Friday, May 10, at the Eagles91裸聊视频� local building at 1197 Main Street.

According to a press release, a portion of the $12,000 will be directed toward the SOS Medical Foundation91裸聊视频檚 $10 million oncology clinic campaign. Meanwhile, the remainder of the money will be distributed across various departments at the Penticton Regional Hospital.

91裸聊视频淭he SOS Medical Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to this service club, which has been a stalwart supporter of quality healthcare at PRH since 1996,91裸聊视频� the press release states.

The medical foundation has been working to raise $10 million for an expanded oncology department, which will be located on the third floor of the Penticton hospital.

As of this spring, the foundation is more than halfway toward its fundraising goal.

The City of Penticton earlier this spring issued building permits for the department91裸聊视频檚 renovations, which are expected to be complete by May 2025.

Interior Health says it will have 11 treatment bays, four ambulatory care treatment bays, four exam/consult rooms, and more space for equipment, supplies, medications and staff workspace.
