Sicamous has long put the fun in fungi and is continuing to do so with the first annual mushroom themed Morel Farmers Market.

Stemming from the popular Fungi Fest the district is already known for, the Morel Market will capitalize on the spring harvest. As morels thrive in burnt areas, organizer Deb Heap said this year91裸聊视频檚 bounty is 91裸聊视频渙ne of the few positive things to come out of the wildfires.91裸聊视频�

People are encouraged to come out and learn more about the elusive 91裸聊视频榮hrooms, with fresh and dried morels as well as food items featuring them. In addition to the mushroom mania, the market will also have more than 30 vendors with produce, cider, wine, baking, fresh flowers, artisans and other handcrafted items.

There will also be live music, fly tying demos for avid anglers, mushroom experts, face painting and other kids91裸聊视频� activities and Girl Guides on hand selling cookies and registering new members. Communities in Bloom will be giving away 18 rain barrels courtesy of a donation from Lakeside Storage, the banner project will be selling past years91裸聊视频� designs and bags and there will be rock painting to add to Pebbles, Sicamous91裸聊视频� rock snake.

The Morel Market will be held in the Sicamous Legion parking lot on Friday, May 24 from 4 to 7 p.m.
